Hello,
I wanted to ask anyone who has had this phone about its features with cricket. This is my first cell phone. When it says Web browser and data downloaRAB capable does that mean i can use the internet as long as i have unlimited mobile web? Is there any way to send yahoo or aol instant messages on this phone? I see cricket no longer allows aol im but is there a work around or can i at least get yahoo im? Can you send regular text messages? Also is there any way to get email on this phone? I know my questions may sound stupid i just dont know what the specs are for this phone on the cricket service. I know what they are in general just not with cricket.Thank you very much for the help. I am getting the phone from cricket's web site so it is the cricket version.
 
No to any IM's but you can the Webbased ones and the Text based ones, and yes you can surf and download as long as you have the WEB turned on, also to vist the cricket website, other websites etc you cant, and you can only get WEB based e-mail no pop e-mail, also in cricket clicks look for something called SodaPop its a program that go's out and gets your e-mail for you

xD your very welcome, i did that kind of fast but that was the info in a nut shell. Also this might or might not help you later down the road. well help us all i should say, the rummor going around is that Cricket might open up more ports, but that might be wishful thinking however, they are getting some kind of wanna be PDA phone next year, (Jan Time frame) so either they will have a program to check e-mail, be all web based, or they will open up the pop ports. but in time we shall see.
 
Thanks. yea i really wanted a smartphone but due to how hard it was to get setup i didnt buy one from another maker. If they had a touch pro with all apps working i would buy it in a second or a treo.
 
Thanks yeah i might try it. I will try out this one phone first and see how i like it. If cricket does not get a good smartphone in a few months i think i will get one and try it.
