Motorola razr V3 help please?

I just purchased a Verizon razr v3 and a usb cord. naturally it didnt come with any disk or hardware. to connect it says i need the drivers off the disk my phone came with............... it didnt...... what am i supposed to do im at whits end. please help. btw... dont just say get motorola phone tools, i dont got 40$ to spend on the stupid program. any help would be nice. HAPPY EASTER!
