Motorola Q9 keeps sending the same message over and over again. help?

I sent the message "tim?" to my friend, ONE time! She tells me that it keeps resending to her phone. I tried deleting the thread of messages but it keeps sending. I'm running out of options, can someone help?

Try restarting you phone, thats what i do when mines does that, if that doesnt work tell ya friend to turn their phone off
