Motorola Q or Treo 700wx

I had the Treo 650 and now the Q with Verizon and I will be moving to Sprint within the next week or so. I like both phones alot but I think I mainly like the Q because of Windows Mobile. All the stores by me dont have working 700wx's so I have not been able to play around with it.

Does the 700wx have all the same Windows Mobile capabilities as the Q? The Q is just a little too wide for my liking and I liked the weight of my 650.

Has anyone on Sprint had any problems with either phone that would sway me away from getting either one. I am pretty much set on these two phones, just cant decide which one.

Well one thing, make sure you have the coverage you need on Sprint before you switch.

Both phones are Windows Mobile devices and prone to random reboots for no reason. I question the quality of the Treo having had 3 600s and a 650 and all were junque.

One of the main differences is the treo has a touch screen and a stylus and Q is a smartphone and does not have that. Don't much about the 700wx but I think it is a PPC and can edit word and excel files, whereas the Q can only read them. Heard the upcoming WM6 will allow smartphones to edit as well, though.

But since you have had both you probably are the best judge of which you like better.

Actually, I have a Sprint Moto Q and you can edit documents on it with a third party app - Documents To Go. Otherwise, I think you just have the viewer. I switched from the Treo to the Q simply because of the light weight, slim fit of the Q and the fact that I can have multiple programs running (although in the backgroiund) simultaneously. Every now and then I miss the touchscreen of the Treo, but I've found that to be far and few in between. Also, graphics appear so much cleaner on Windows Mobile. Plus the camera on the Q is awesome and it has a flash. Just be sure to get the newer Q version from Sprint with the blue backlit keyboard and blue metal M (motorola) logo on the front. The older version sports a silver M logo.
