Motorola Milestone How to update the OS?

Somebody can tell it,what's the difference between the droid and the milestone ? I have a milestone. Could i flash with droid fw ?
 
let me tell u milestone is gsm and the droid is cdma i dont think u can flash gsm to cdma flash file
