Motorola Hint Front Buttons Quit Working?

today i was in the shower and i decided to bring along the phone with me. when i got out the shower (keep in mind it did not get wet, for i did not use it in the shower), it was being funky. the front buttons to my motorola hint quit working. i cant use the "back" "option" ok/select" buttons. i've turned if off, took out the battery, everything else is working, but those damn buttons. HELP
