My boss just got a Droid X and needed it set up, she's not too tech savy. If I would have never had my iP4, I would probably be very tempted to switch from my old 3g to the X.
The Droid is very comparable in speed to the iP4, but not as smooth when flicking through screens or pinch zooming pics. Even though the screen is bigger than the iPhone, it's not as nice as the iP4. The camera is also not quite as nice, even though it's higher mp. I do like the customization you can do on the Droid and typing was just about as easy as using an iPhone (about the only other touch screen phone I've used that comes close). It is a little bulky though, not sure I could live with a mini tablet in my pocket.
The only thing that would get me to switch is the fact that Verizon has better coverage than At&t around here.
