Motorola Droid Question?

Verizon is the only carrier in the USA that officially has the Droid. The $200 price is based on a 3 year contract with Verizon with service. The other places cost $599 because they do no officially have the Droid, Motorola decided that Verizon would be a good carrier for their new phone.

Verizon will not sell the Droid to you for $200... It'll be at retail price which is $599. just as it is at the other places.
No it cannot take your sim card because the Droid runs on the CDMA network which does not use sim cards. Only GSM networks use sim cards

Hey I have a question. I found that in verizon the droid costs $200 but in other places it costs $599. Why is that? I guess that only verizon users can have it because if they don't the guarantee ends or something. But I don't live in the U.S. so can I buy the phone in verizon and then put a SIMM from here? Why or Why Not
