Thanks guys for your help so far! I have a really strange problem now. I finished everything and now I have the 3g symbol (which disappears and reappears. It always comes back on when I start trying to browse the web.) But I do not have talk and text!! lol It doesnt even make sense! When I try to send a text it says error, and when I try to make a call its an instant busy signal!!! LMAO I just cant win! I am gonna try a new prl and see how it works. PLEASE HELP!!! I'M TOO STUPID TO FIGURE THIS OUT!!! lol
 
If you had talk and text before trying the solution, I would suggest the following. Check the PST setting like: MIN/MDN SID/NID, PRL.
If the phones new to the account check the following: ESN matches what cricket has on the account, PRL, and again check all the PST setting.
 
Thanks to all the help everyone has given me I have a fully flashed to criket moto Droid!!! lol Thank you to everyone that helped a fat guy out! I really appreciate it!!! My most recent problem was solved by calling criket and switching phones on my account! Thats it! They just needed to have the droids esn and it was done!!! Thanks alot to everyone who helped once again!!!
 
Hi, This newbie needs some help
I did this step: Flash the SPRecovery_ESE81.sbf file with RSD Lite.
Then I put the SD micro card into my pc (with adapter) and copied the smokingglass rom file which was a winrar archive to the root of the card. I also unarchived it and put all those files in the root of the card as well

However when I get to this step
"After the phone reboots, mount the sdcard and place the Smoked Glass rom in the root of the sdcard.
Turn the phone off.
Boot into recovery by holding down "X" and pressing power."

Instead of getting the above I get a White triangle with a yellow exclamaiton point icon in the middle of the screen .

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks!
 
Not sure if anyone ran into this issue or not, but .... after completing the flash for the Droid using the Smoked.Glass.v.6.0.1-ESE53 with the rsd root method if found that I was having issues with the MMS not allowing larger pics, then it came down to I couldn't receive pics or send them at all (mms). As an additional note, the data features would not disconnect at all even with all the data features set to not automatically update, etc..... still missing phone calls left and right...

Here's what I've discovered for a temp fix....

after writing the NV Items, then the adb push files and chmods (0777), everything would work.... Until .....

I restarted the system (normally) the 3G would disappear, and the issues would return.

So I re-programmed that phone, did the push files again, and did chmod 0755

everything is working now so far as I can tell, again I'm not able to reboot the phone or I will have to re-do the push files and set the chmod again, not sure why.... any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know if it will be possible to OTA the Droid w/o messing up the flash if it is using the new 55 plan and is listed as a Zio?
 
take out the memory card from the phone. Download the Update.zip root solution (can't remember who did that one exactly, but Kuddo's and thanks, its helps alot!)

Transfer the update.zip to the root of your memory card. Along with the update.zip your going to transfer the Smoked Glass Rom 6.0.1 to the root of your sdcard.

Replace the SD card in the droid, replace the battery, open the keyboard, hold X while booting the phone to enter in recovery, once in recovery hold the Camra button and the Vol. Up button, once the screen kicks over select install update.zip (duplicate)

Install the Update.zip **** NOTE **** I did the install for update.zip 2 times, I didn't reboot the phone in to recover the first time, I just re-did the install, the first time I used "install update.zip" second time I used "install update.zip (duplicate)"

Once you've installed the update.zip back out of your menu's till you see "reboot phone", reboot the phone at this time, you will have to be quick, at the moment the screen blacks out for the reboot, hold x again. (this is only because your current installation is corrupted)

once back in recovery, install the smoked Glass Rom again, Make sure you make note of the First Posting for the required options I've actually used the OC at 1,200 and it was stable, but drained the battery in about an hour of standby time.... yes standby time.... so I recommend keeping at the 800Mhz, not much difference unless you have a gazillion apps running in which case I recommend a task manager...

once the install is completed and you've selected all your options back out of the menu's till you see "Reboot Phone".

Select Reboot Phone, and everything should be okay from that point on. Continue to follow the instructions by the awesome developers here at howardforums (Thanks Again Everyone for your contributions and hard work!!!!!)
 
What were your install steps? did you wipe previous to install? all your 3g and mms work?


wtf... ok so i have frg22 deodexed installed and have 3g working... but i cannot get my mms to send or recieve! i switched out my autostart.sh file with a modified one and the mms started working but i lost 3g... here are my apn settings:

ok guys when i try to execute the new autostart.sh in root explorer i get a bad argument... :( what is goin on here. the only one that seems to let me on the internet is the old whiterabbit autostart.sh
 
Do it the way it says on first page, put froyo update on sd card as update.zip, boot to sprecovery and install. All will be right with the world, and you'll be running froyo
