Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

If your not getting a 1x or 3g, you either need to rewrite the NV's or try a different PRL. Also insure that you are in a Native cricket CDMA area.
 
So...I'm back. Sort of up and running...except for MMS.
I DO have web...the 1x icon is up there at the top and all is well. I felt very accomplished.
However...I still cannot get MMS working. Can someone point me in the right direction? I would greatly appreciate it!
 
I actually got it working this morning following the directions in the droid eris thread. And actually, I didn't realize when I posted this last night that I *had* gotten MMS working...it just wouldn't download the specific message I was trying to receive. I stayed up all night trying to fix it and by the time I posted I was obviously feeling the sleep deprivation. :P

One thing I didn't get around to investigating last night was getting 3G to work. Is the solution running around here somewhere? I'm sure I'll run into it...just a matter of wading through all the other posts without solutions. ;)

Can't edit my post and I accidentally submitted to early. :P I'm getting the HTC Incredible and I gotta say right now I'm glad to be on Verizon because I'm so tired of dealing with Cricket right now. :P
 
Well got the 3g icon but still not getting internet, but the odd thing is that i got mms, I think it's one of the settings in the qpst I got wrong. the passwoed isn't sticking in there or one of the boxes need to be marked ( like the 1xEVO1x) or something simple like that. I did use 2.7 with no evdo
 
Just a couple more suggestions, Now that yo got 3g and MMS, did you install the autostart.apk, autostart.sh, u2nl, and did any of them error out when pushing the files. Have you had the WAP on the account refreshed. "It might take more than once" Also how is your phone listed on the account?
 
How did you get the 3G to work? That's the only thing I haven't been able to get working. I have 1x icon, MMS, and web...just no 3G icon.
 
All those settings pushed over error at all, I tried to have web refreshed for the 3rd time. I changed roms twice just to make sure I got the same thing and i did. If refreshing don't help im really at a lose of ideas. Man I really miss those days when flashing was just swapping a esn and doing *228 ...lol. Think ill go back to the htc pro if this don't get better.
 
So I have MMS on my account; it shows up in my features list and if I receive an picture message from another mobile device it usually comes through fine, but I have mobile alerts for my credit cards to remind me of bills coming due and on those messages I get the "Download" button but when I click the button, after several seconds I get "download of message ... unsuccessful". Is this another Cricket issue or is this an APNs settings issue?
 
Ok hi again guys, my droid is nice and flashed for cricket buuuut my biggest issue here is i have 3g calling but no mms and texts arent sending but i can get em no problem now my prl is set to 1015 which is i guess the prl for where i'm at right now which is in Texas. i tried rewriting my nvitems and called cricket several times and nothings working now if i change my prl will i lose the activation thats on my phone or will it just replace that cause i need my text messaging cause it's how everyone gets ahold of me
 
Sound as if it's a size issue with the incoming MMS or a format issue. If your receiving pic's then it's not the account and if it was APN's you wouldn't receive those.
