@whiterabbit Just wanted to drop in and say great work for getting this new script up an going.

Jut FYI, I have tested it on a moto droid and it works pretty good, but I tried it on a droid x and it freezes the phone. I removed it checked it then put it back on a droid x and every time the phone would completely freeze when it booted.

Now the original autostart.sh file works on the droid x without problems so it may only need a small change. I can tell you from looking at the file system of the X that mms is a little different. I have got the X 100%flashed with everything but sorry to all its not free yet but will be soon.
 
If you can't talk or text then check your prl and your mdn and min. Those alone will get you talk and text.

As farr as the nv items go, which nv items are you using and which cdma ws are you using 2.7 or 3.5?
 
Interesting find.

I may try a few things with you via pm to see if we can narrow down what is causing the freeze, im wondering if you have a broken busybox and the ping command never finishes or something, i may send you a pm later with a few things to try if your game. I have been working with whiterabbit to do some modifications to the script as well and am looking to incorporate a universal flash (per carrier) so this is very interesting information to me :)
 
Have you tried downloading rsd lite 4.6 from another source? I'm not seeing any information on error 2755 could just be a corrupt installation executable or an issue with Windows. Maybe try installing it on a different computer or in a virtual machine.
 
HW Serial port is dropping out on you, make sure you have everything unchecked on settings page, sometimes it'll let me leave the log checked, sometimes not, but that's almost definitely where your problem is. As for Metro PCS you need to load a cricket prl.
 
ive notice sometimes my internet will suddenly stop working i have the 3G icon and its flashes the uploading 3G icon part but the download part doesnt ever flash so my internet doesnt work. the fix is a reboot but it happens often so it isnt any good ive tried re-installing the autostart.exe from market many time...im on simply stunning 4.6 (froyo) but i also had the same problem with smoked glass rom too. can anyone help?
 
Okay so here is my problem. I am to the point where I need to put autostart onto the phone. My issue is that when I go into wifi settings, it says "unable to start wifi." What would cause that at this point and how do I fix it?

I flashed my moto droid and I got everything working other then mms that quit recently. I then recently flashed 2 other moto droids and they have no 3g connectivity, whereas mine works great.
I'm not sure what the problem is, when I got to *#*#4636#*#* menu and cycle the radio off/on it tries to connect to Evdo.A then Evdo.0 and evetually times out and ends up 1xRTT. GPRS says disconnected and under GSM disconnects it says Unknown Error.

Everything else is the same as on my phone, autostart/u2nl/nvitems/prl/apn's/(tried multiple different roms) no change. Both droids have no 3g internet. Any help I would really appreciate it.

I've read through some of the threads and will have them refresh the accounts again. Maybe call the porting # and have them do it there. Will post back with results.
 
alright, thanks to everyone whose helped me out so far, no i have encountered another challenge, i dont think rsd lite connects to my phone, is there some special settings or something that need to be changed?
 
Please HELP!!! I can't configure the internet on my Droid, finally I configure the MMS after 100 times, I check all and I move this number for error home address, primary ha, and secondary HA to all zeros and I don't know what's this and if this is the problem, can someone help me please, thanks in advance
 
ok 3 days reading can't really find out why my internet and mms isn't working. I can't even get a icon on the bar for 1x or evdo... but wifi works. Can someone help me before my eyes go out ..lol
