Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

Do you need U2nl for the html plan, or any other changes for html? I had it activated on my phone and I don't notice any speed difference. Could it just be my market...I am in cincy. Solution working great for standard web and everything else. Thx to all contributing.

I updated with the New IP Address...internet is working!
Thanks...
but i still have a problem with Text Messaging both SMS and MMS

i can receive SMS but cannot send...
when im receiving an MMS it says that i have to go to some link...
cannot send MMS

do i have to refresh the account again??

You still need u2nl and the rest of the files for the html, other than that its still the same proxy connection. You can download the speed test app from the market and check your speed with that..
I can get up to 650kbps in Phoenix if im in the right spot, usually it averages 300-400kbps.

I still don't understand why my sister gets MMS on her Droid via Cricket on the same service plan I have and I don't. I told the Cricket rep to provision and refresh my account but it's been over a week since my MMS stopped working. I can't send MMS at all and when I receive one it tells me I have to go to a website to view it. I'm fairly sure it's on Cricket's side but I still can't figure why my sister's Droid isn't experiencing the same problem. Is there any possibility that's it has something to do with Android 2.2?

well guys i did everything on the guide i even read through the thread to make sure i dont look stupid, i basically did everything 5 times and everything came out good no errors or anything but when im finally done i go the market or anything that uses internet it doesnt work, i have the 3G icon it flashes so i know its working but only for a few seconds. i have root explorer and i looked in system/bin/ and data/opt and u2nl and autostart are were they should be, i also checked my apns 5 times and i re-wrote the NV items but no go. can i have a little help here please.

Did you check the permissions on autostart.sh and u2nl? Often if you use a terminal emulator or ADB shell to test run u2nl it will say permission denied. Also try manually running /data/opt/autostart.sh from the terminal.

@Raiden619

We discussed the link to a mms msg thing a few pages back. The result was that "picture messaging" was not listed in the account details on the account when they looked it up online. The solution was to change the account plan to different plan temporarily and then change it back to the plan they had and it had picture msg enabled.

I am not sure on the SMS. If you can make a call on the cricket network, SMS should work?

Yupp i just read that thread at this moment...
Thanks
Doing that right now...i'll post back on results

Thats weird for me because i can make and receive calls
and receive texts....but i cannot send as well

Just tried upgrading to 60 month and downgrading to 40 month...but still no go...i dont see the option of MMS messaging or even text messaging which is why my phone problaly doesnt send texts..period...
any ideas?

i might try that again later...but as of now doesnt work :/

Just called cricket...to see if they could add
Text messaging...Video Messaging and Picture messaging
but they told me they couldn't because the phone doesnt "support" that feature...
anyway i could go around this?
