Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

I got my phone flashed awhile ago. Everything is working minus a problem with texting. Its a Droid flashed to Metro $50 plan, I can receive texts and send, i can also receive picture messages but i cannot send even though my phone shows the picture was sent. no one receives them, only once was i able to have a picture sent.

Heres the way my settings are via voice dialed Apn:

Name: metropcs
APN: internet
proxy: wap.metropcs.net:3128
port: 3128
username: 10digit#@mymetropcs.com
password: metropcs
server: wap.metropcs.net
mmsc: http://mms.metropcs.net:3128/mmsc
mms proxy: wap.metropcs.net
mms port: 3128
mmc: 310
mnc: 004
auth type: not set
apn type: not set

im a noob, ive spend hours reading, but i still cant figure this out. i was thinking of going to the $40 plan since they added my to the $50 by mistake

I am having a issues with picture messaging also. It was working aNd then today nothing. When I try and send one it just sits there and says sending. Can't seem to receive them either. I checked all the settings and they are all correct. Ran autostart.sh with root explorer to make sure web was working. Called cricket and had them reset settings. Still not working.

Should I try and reflash?

I'm running bugless beast v0.4. And wasz working fine. Installed a cragalist app from the market place and I'm wondering if that killed it somehow. Got it so I could keep an eye on trucks.

i finish the process without any errors boot phone on final step i make a call and the verizon lady answers idk y?? could this have to do with prl??? iam using prl 38515 and iam located in dekalb, illinois area plz help i have being trying for 4 straight nights

Do I need to get cricket service before flashing my droid?
Or can I flash it, then take it to the Cricket store and setup an account?

Flashing typically refers to changing the PRL. Typing in the MDN and MIN is programming which is done after you have that information. After you get an account with Cricket ask for your MIN, your MDN is your phone number. In my case I flashed the PRL and then dialed *611 to get service on my Droid. The Cricket service rep might tell you to dial *228 but on the Droid it usually doesn't work so you will have to do that part manually by going into the ##program menu. I hope that clarifies it. The flashing part can be done before going to the Cricket store but the rest can't be until you have an account with Cricket.

it will say "welcome to verizon wireless" all time that u try conecct in roaming area, try to call in a open space where u have cricket coverage and bump u get the happy phrase "welcome to cricket" ; even if u flash a sprint phone and u try call 611 u get welcome to verizon wireless in roaming area.
