Under *#*#4636#*#* make sure CDMA auto (PRL) is selected. Make sure you're using a newer cricket PRL like 6399 or 6499 and make sure iptables, autostart.sh and u2nl are working. You can use a terminal emulator app on the phone or use adb shell in command prompt to test if iptables is working by just typing:
Code:
/data/opt/autostart.sh
If no errors appear then you should be good to go.

XSYLUS:

C:\android\tools>adb remount
remount succeeded

C:\android\tools>adb shell
# /data/opt/autostart.sh
/data/opt/autostart.sh
u2nl: permission denied

XSYLUS: well 3 weeks of screwing with this phone 60$ spend on a flash and all I had to do was *#*#4636#*#* and select CDMA auto (PRL) and then move the u2nl to the right folder (the "professional flasher" moved it there :( )

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I start up CDMA workshop send the SPC code. CDMA pops up "SPC is correct. Phone unlocked" I go to write the NV items and the status bar in CDMA workshop says "Failed.. Phone does not answer". Alternatively I just tried to do a straight read on all the data via Qpst and about 60% of the way through it tells me the phone quit communicating.

I managed to get the 38515.prl uploaded, and also change it to 6499.prl file...

NV items write seem to not be working.

Who has a guess what I need to do?

Are you connected properly to HWVSP in diag mode?
Not 100% sure about this on qpst, but I couldn't do a straight read on cdma workshop because upon reading certain addresses or NV items, the phone would reset. I had to add each NV item address that gave me problems and added them to the NV items skip list, but that was on CdmaWorkshop 3.5

As long as you are connected properly on HWVSP you will be able to connect on CDMA workshop. If you are using whiterabbit's NV txt file, its only contains like 12 items so it only takes a few seconds to write.
