I tried all of that and it's still not reading the phone in CDMA. In HWVSP it's saying under the LAN tab failed and then it will try to connect and then fail and repeat. I am using CDMA 3.4 should that make any difference why it's not reading it? Is there any settings in the phone that must be on or off?

What if I want to keep my existing rom? I have 2.2 on my moto and I dont want the glass ROM on it.

Also when I hold down "T" nothing happens..

Mediafire is a much better alternative to rapidshare.. and countless others as well.

These instructions could be a little better written, i appreciate everyone's effort but hard work cant be appreciated if no one understands it and you need 30 pages..

not trying to bash you bro but it seems like a lot of time has been put into this thread/instructions with minimal results.

Thats because I cant edit them. Besides, most of my updates are being released on mobile files. As for holding t, it will boot up as normal. Easiest way is to power phone off, hold down T, and plug the usb cable in. Keep holding down T until you see windows load the Motorola Network Drivers.

@nampa821 Uncheck the option "NVT Enabled" in hwsp settings tab and try

Hey thanks for the quick response man, is it necessary to install the SDK? I'm having a lot of problems installing it lol, something about an HTTP error

also, is there an easier way to do this? Is it possible just to upload a single ROM file and have it be as easy as installing recovery software and extracting the ROM then boom done?

SDK is needed. And yes, there is an easier way. I have a nandroid of Android 2.2 with all cricket files included on it, but its mobile files exclusive only.

the sdk is only necessary if you are going to use your computer to load the autostart.sh and u2nl files to the phone. What i did was download root manager from the market and used that instead.

I'm having the exact same problem, I thought it was a windows 7 issue, so i moved everything to my laptop, same problem. and nvt enabled is definitely unchecked.

am i the only one who finds this to be a kick in the nu#$ to those who created this thread and who have also helped me and many others ? just read it who cares if its 60 pages long - most people unlike this guy are successful with these instructions so to say they could be better written in a post is a waste of time that could be used to research on your own on other sites as well as this thread- just my personal opinion -

I feel you man. Most people have no problem with our tutorial. The only errors are very minor, that are solved by simple logic. Plus answered in this 30 page thread.

Im having issues with my son's phone. Cant connect to the internet or get mms. I did both phones the exact same way. Saw this and verified it as well.

Verify with root explorer you have the following
1. Autostart root apk installed with su permissions
2. autostart.sh is in /data/opt/ directory with rwxr-xr-x permissions
3. iptables is in /system/bin/ directory with rwxr-xr-x permissions
4. u2nl is in /system/bin/ directory with rwxr-xr-x permissions

What else can my issues be. I am running BB VO.1

I know we can program the phone to make the service work. What I want to know is how can I OTA. Since we recently switched him to the $40 plan. To get the account updated.

IOTA will not work. As long as you have the new nationwide prl, you dont need to IOTA anyways. Also, since you changed his plan, the internet feature may have been removed. That happens alot when switching plans or esns. Just call cricket and tell them to provision and refresh your internet. Or you can pm me the number and I can do it.
