Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

Just the data connection all together. It would happen every 20 min or so.
Really annoying. It would stay disconnected for about 15-25 seconds then get data back..

Guessing it's a bad flash? The prl I'm using made it happen less often now.

I followed the you tube video and it gave me MMS but the internet will not connect. I was trying to update my kernel and baseband. Right now I am trying to load the BB froyo rom cant do that either. Something is really going on here.

hey guys, i have been trying to follow this thread and do this to my moto droid however for US Cellular, I went through the youtube video and had all the files except the telephony.db file, where do i get that from? Besides that I followed the guide and the video step by step with root explorer but I am not able to get online. I have flashed the PRL and the phone calls out and texts fine. I have been searching for some US Cellular information but I cant find anything, I need some HELP!
TIA

And that's your problem right there. You have to have a modded recovery in order to flash custom ROMs. The quickest way to flash a custom recovery without all the hassle is root your phone then download ROM Manager from the market. It'll require you to flash clockwork recovery in order for the program to function fully. It's the best of the 2 recoveries, anyway.

@allsop154 pm me, this is the wrong thread for you.

@dajiggiest1 *facepalm* ......j/k

Its debatable if its the best. :P The quickest way for recovery is the sbf we provided. But yes, Rom Manager is nice.

@dajiggiest1 pm me for help.

HAHA, =P. True, but I'm coming from being on SPRecovery for the beginning of my Root/Droid...career(?), so I've been through both of them throughly. I like the fact that with CW recovery you don't have to rename everything to update.zip. Also, true with flashing that recovery sbf. Though, last time I tried to flash a custom SBF, it completely messed up, and didn't even finish flashing the first time, which made me poop my pants a little, because we all know the seriousness of a bonked sbf flash. =/
