Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

I'm flashing back to 2.1. Can't even load the kernal or baseband so I'm sure to run into more problems later. Tried for 8 hours last night. Can't load the update zip for nothing using recovery. Totally frustrating.?

Running 2.2 froyo rooted, wap working fine. But everytime I tried the last few steps to install the autostart.sh and u2nl it keeps failing. this is what i get after adb remount: c:\AndroidSDK\tools>adb remount
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found

Any suggestions?

I need my market to work without wifi

ok so in the update.zip I have kernel, META-INF, and system. My question is do I have to download all three or can I just do the kernel and baseband. Which folder is the baseband. I have a feeling its the system folder but I am not sure.

Ok. trust me I've been trying for 2 days now. I unzipped it and placed it on the card that didnt work. Didnt unzip it and placed it on the card that didnt work. I keep an abort no such file or directory exist. No idea whats going on.

Do not unzip the folder and place it on the SD card, you gotta take the WHOLE update.zip and put it on the SD card's main dir. Depending on the recovery you're using, you'll have to make sure it's kept the update.zip name. In any window in your OS, go to Tools > folder options > view, and uncheck "hide extensions for known file types." .zip is a known filetype, so you may be inadvertently naming it update.zip.zip as you put it in the SD card. Hope that helps.
