Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

@qazwsx16 I would assume so, but expect quite a few more steps. Im sure Sprint probably blocked memory reads, so its probably a pain to get the spc. Also, I am sure MMS will be different(if it even works). But the solution is for sale over at MobileFiles.

I think I'm going to wait for a lot of this to get worked out. The method seems to have changed as well. Can we stream video with this 2.2?

I havent tried yet. I have heard hulu works. Havent got around to trying it. But check over at mydroidworld. They would probably have more info about 2.2.

I would recommend people who like to keep their phone up to date (especially with FroYo being released) to check out Bugless Beast FroYo v.01. It supports netfilters, iptables, diag mode--everything necessary to get up and going on cricKet's network. The latest version already has the Maps fix, it also supports flashing of whatever kernel you want, so if you don't want to be on a P3 kernel, you don't have to. You can download the custom ROM from HERE. Good luck, wipe everything, and don't forget to inject your apks.

His prices are his prices. And I dont think you should discuss his offer in public. Thats a private matter. Also, lets move this thread back to the Motorola Droid, and not the Evo. Thanks.

EDIT: Not meaning to offend. I would love that solution as much as you, but this is not the place for it.

No, the leaked 2.2 roms will already be rooted. You just install the nandroid or .zip from the 2.2 rom of your choice and redo the wap and mms portions. If you update the baseband, you will have to do the full flash again.

should I use the new kernal that came with the update, if so how do I do that. I updated but dont have flash, whicj is leading me to believe I didnt do it right.

Install Instructions Clockwork Recovery:
1) Download file
2) Extract folder named 2010-06-05.06.15.32
3) Place folder 2010-06-05.06.15.32 in the /sdcard/clockwork/backup folder on your sdcard
4) Restart phone in recovery
5) Go to nandroid, select restore, select the above folder and press the camera button.

Step 5 there was no option to select that folder. it only said "The latest"
