Motorola Droid Full Solution Updated

I have everything working exept youtube, it just keeps loading. is it because I don't have the Html data on my plan? I'm currently on the 40plan and btw i've seen youtube working in some HtC phone w/ out HTML. Any ideas why?
 
I was following the other previous thread but it seems that people from that thread are here now so I will post this here.

I was using ws 2.7 following all the steps from gijoey1980's original how to and not getting 3g. I did not use qpst so I am not sure on that. In the end it took writing the password on the evdo tab (to cricket of course) of ws 3.5 and 3g worked.

I want to say thank you to all the people that helped figure this out, you guys are awesome!

I have been using this phone for more than a week now and if you are still working on getting yours going, trust me it is worth it. This phone on cricket is amazing. I finally feel good again about having a cell phone.

Lastly, to those of you that worked out the original solution, I read all of those 50+ pages and watched you guys solve this on your own. I am not sure what the accusations about stealing solutions or whatever it was, was about. I know I saw you guys solve this on your own, as a team and **** you to whomever accused you guys of otherwise. It is really sad to see people that are willing to publish this kind of stuff for free to the public (having done all the work themselves) get bullied about stealing work. I hope you guys continue on anyway and at least know that your work has benefited not only myself but a lot of other people as well.
 
Not sure what my deal is here. The HW VSP gives me an error when trying to create a Com. I am so frustrated with this phone. I have flashed plenty of phones but I cant seem to get pass step 2 on this one. I created the Com on my pc then when I go into cdma is still says that the com doesnt exist. :doh:
 
and you have confirmed that your computer is picking up the phone in diag mode? Should see Motorola network driver when you do ipconfig /all in a cmd prompt. Also making sure you have nvt disabled on hwvsp. We could do a teamviewer session if you still need help.
 
ok.. since my phone is in AWS market I cant use it without roaming... so how can i use it with roaming minuets???

Also.... I heard that talk and text is easy to do.... this is all I want...can someone help me?
 
I need a little help,
ok so i get to the command prompt part and when I type in:
adb push c:\android\tools\u2nl /system/bin/u2nl

i get: failed to copy c:\android\tools\u2nl /system/bin/u2nl:read-only file system

can someone please help I dont know what this means :S
 
I dont see Motorola network driver when I do a ipconfig. What I do get is Motoconnect and that the phone has been successfully detected.
 
Did anyone get Wifi Tethering to work? I cant. Also, what is the difference between using Wifi Tether & making the Droid a Hotspot?
