Motorola Backflip sd card problems?

Do I need a sd to take pictures with it?!
Cause I have pics on the sd i used in other phones with random pics on it
and now how can i make a folder that hides those random photos? Does this make any sense?
I want to hide the random pictures, so no one can see them, and just be able to take
pictures without a hassle, please help?
