I just got a motorcycle jack for my boyfriend for Christmas but I'm wondering if its as great as I think it is. I did a lot of research and got the more expensive Craftsman jack from Sears. He does all his own work on his bikes (Ninja 650?, TL100R, dirtbikes- kx500 and honda 125 as well as a new parts bike and a formula 3 snowmobile).
What I want to know is if the jack will work with these types of sportsbikes/dirtbikes. Any ideas? I've heard a lot about cruisers on them but not sports bikes and I'm not sure why... The website say it Includes two adapter bars for high chassis vehicles such as dirt bike." Does this make it useful for all dirtbikes and sportbikes?
And if you do a lot of your own bike maintenance, do you suggest a jack? Is it something you have found to be useful?
Thanks for any help! =)
