Hi everyone,
I think this is the right place to discuss about torque and rotation motion.
It is not about car but it is about a tracker which i will use to track the sun.
The knowledge of you guyz definitely will help me on this topic of rotation motion.
I'm working to build the tracker which has
load = 4 tonnes (evenly distributed mass)
radius = 10 m
with
max tangential speed = 1.029747 m/min
min tangential speed = 0.017453 m/min
The requirement is with precision 0.01°
The platform will rotate to track the sun and will be build on wheels for the rotation mechanism.
Now, i'm planning to choose a suitable motor or if needed gear for the application.
Could someone please help me with choosing the good rating of motor?
