Moto Q or Blackberry?

Nextel service has gone to $#!T in my area, I am currently using a company paid 7100i. The 7100i kind of sucks too. Suretype always offers the wrong word and ends up writing something obscure instead of the obvious but I have mixed feelings going back to the 7520 style.

I'll be using the new phone for e-mail, appointments and need phone quality. I've heard that nothing beats the Blackberry when it comes to e-mail. What should I consider when I switch my data phone to VZW?

I have a VZW phone already. I'm unable to upgrade without paying full price. I'm so sick of the Nextel service that I'm willing to pay retail.

Moto Q or Blackberry? Or something else....Treo? If BB, I think I want to go back to a true QWERTY keyboard.

How important is making notes/letters/spreadsheets to you? Remember the Q can only view these, but can't make them. I talked to a Verizon Rep and she said that the VX6700 isn't a PDA but the Q is, but I don't understand because you can do more with the XV6700. The reason why I mention that is have you looked into the XV6700? It has built in Wifi and is a bit cheaper than the Blackberry, but a little more than the Q.
