Motion Capture in TV Animation

I know television is like 5-10 years behind movies when it comes to technology, but I wonder when TV producers/directors will start playing around with the motion capture technology. Should be interesting...

For the CGI scenes, Code Lyoko has their share of motion capture.

I heard that Antefilms Studio uses motion capture but I'm not sure they used in in Code Lyoko. Then again my knowledge of that show is not so great ever since I stopped watching it.

Why would anyone use Motion capturing?

Depends on whom you ask.

I, personally, am not an elitist, so I don't care if it's used or not. The mo-cap that was utilized in Happy Feet (all 10 minutes of it) was beautiful.

Thing is, that's using non-human subjects. I do not understand the point of building a creepy-looking human model and then using motion capture to make it move. It's like a human wearing a skintight human costume.
