My boyfriend and I have had problems money wise since day one. After months of being poor and leaning on my mother, we had opportunity come knocking and we definately answered. We now have a business starting up, and because of our bad decisions following other's ( Parents ) advice, and due to the numerous arguments started between us, I said NO ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ADVICE FROM ANYONE FAMILY on O.U.R. company.
Sure enough, a week into it we are being told we dress un-professional, even though we're in an artistic line of work, telling us what we need to do what not to do, how we need to "Sell ourselves". She drives me crazy. She can't leave well enough alone and let us make this business for our selves. One good example: She told her boss my boyfriend WILL make a website for their company...DID NOT ask my boyfriend if he could or not, or even if he wanted to. She had the nerve on one day to tell me I was dressing very masculine like ( It was at a foot ball game I had cramps was freezing & had on my bf's hoodie).My boyfriend knows she irritates me and he knows she doesn't know whats right 100% of the time. I'm very tempted to tell her to mind her own damn business at this point. I know t will start problems though.
Any advice on dealing with this?
