mother in law one day?

my boyfriend and i are serious + a child, but his mother acts like i'm her daughter. she calls me sooo many times a day, asks me personal questions in detail, annoys me, ect. i dont know if shes lonely, but am i being mean for not answering the phone/ thinking this???
 
You are the mother of her grandchild. She is just trying to get to know you. Lighten up. At least she isn't trying to run your relationship, bad mouthing you and
treating you like an outcast. She is, after all, the mother of the man you love. Keep treating her like a disease and your
true love will become your ex.
 
You had a child with her son. She is the child's Grandmother whether or not you are married to him.

You are being mean by not accepting her into your life and the life of the child.

Mother-in-laws come ready made dear. Daughter-in-laws learn to accept what they can not change and change what they can. Forgive the rest and move on.

When she calls and ask something you feel is personal then you tell her you feel it is personal and you would rather not answer that. She will eventually get the message.

Be polite.
