I have been married and this is only the second time I have EVER spoke up to her. She treats my bro in laws kids better than our three kids. She buys them more, spends more time and makes excuses why she can't do things with and for them. I am a good person and LIKE I said, keep my mouth shut for the most part. Now that the kids are older they are noticing the difference and it is getting very hard to make excuses for her, my oldest told me she could care less for her because of all the off handed things my mother in law says. Yesterday, I kinda lost it. I went to her house after she whined that "her kids" the other grandkids, didn't get bikes for easter, there was a bunch of other stuff too. I basically told her that she was wrong for saying that in front of them and she blew up. My husband told me I was wrong and hugged her as she and I were BOTH crying. Am I wrong to defend my kids and is he wrong for taking sides?
