Fiance and I are getting married next month, its just a small family thing we wanted it intimate and classy and are SO excited about our big day.
This requires some back story:
Fiance and I have been through some VERY VERY trying times, we have always loved each other unconditionally, the issues have been with reappearing ex girl/boyfriends ... mother in laws who LOVE to fuel the fire in that area, as well as just being apart (he is military) - we live in two different states far from each other ...so despite all of that, once we set a wedding date things seemed to calm down and everything was going wonderful the drama was gone and we were excited for a day to celebrate our love with our family...
Now The Present:
FIance's mom ... has been dating a guy who is considerably younger for a while ... they have broken up several times when they were living together ... this last time they broke up the continued to live as roomates. Shortly after, that did not work out so she moved in with her sister. She started dating two different men. A few weeks later her ex that she lived with came to her place of employment and proposed. She said she would think about it but she didnt love him like she should and she was going to say no ... in the mean time she continued to date these other two men AND wear the engagement ring from the ex.
TODAY I got a text message from her saying:
"X and I are getting married NEXT MONTH!!!"
(X meaning the guy who proposed, whom she, a WEEK EARLIER, said she didnt love and didnt want to marry)
THE PROBLEM:
We are getting married next month. I have an issue with her getting married for several reasons (1. I am not sure she is really "in love" with X ... 2. She is stealing the spotlight from the time that we deserve to be celebrated ... we DESERVE our moment ... 3. She FREQUENTLY does this when she gets bored, she has to find her way onto center stage ... among other reasons)
Am I being ridiculous ... do I have a right to be upset? She doesnt understand why this bothers me ...
