Mother acts as though my bohemian lifestyle is a "phase"?

I'm in my twenties, and my mother doesn't take my life choices seriously. I'm a vegetarian, liberal, artist, living a bohemian lifestyle. I don't want to be rich, I don't want a white picket fence. She acts as though my life choices are a phase I will outgrow, like I'm just sewing wild oats or something before I "settle down". It freaks me out, like she expects me to go into a cage or something at some point. What should I do, ugh. What to say to get her to take me seriously. I mean, this is it mom, this is me, this is my life, quit acting like I'm gonna be "something more" because I'm not.
