So I'm gonna do the northern section of the Highway of the Americas and was wondering what is the best used vehicle for the op?
It has to be inconspicuous (so as not to attract kidnapper's attentions south o' the border)and it has to be cheap (under 4k if possible) as it'll likely get left to rot in Panama, but it must be able to handle sub arctic temps,and mud roads in Central America--
So what do you guys suggest I shop for?
--- I've asked a similar question before, and am not looking for a Top Gear answer (as I won't have a fleet of mechanics, nor the budget for a Hi-lux sooped up in Iceland, and Land Rovers really are too unreliable.
