question what they read. Discuss? If true how, if at all, can this be remedied. Should one question their agenda?
Lol, it is not a homework assignment I guess the Discuss made you think of that, I ran out of letters! It was a conversation I had with friends in a pub !
I am far too old for homework, unfortunately , the old that is not the homework

I read a nice piece on the BBC website that said this was OK, so I'm happy with that.

Just come to CE for a fortnight and you'll never believe a newspaper again.

this is obviously homework. yes many people believe what they read or see, the news is seen as objective and many people dont consider that there is an agenda. i suppose it would be remedied if everyone did some sociology or media studies in school. teach it to kids to always be critical about everything and not to believe everything they are told by politicians and the media. i dont understand why its left until university to instil critical thinking in people. at least thats the way it seems here in ireland maybe its different in the UK.
And yes the medias agenda should always be questioned.
