Most important for SAT II U.S History?

Hi,

I am a student in Dubai, and i have never taken U.S History. However under certain circumstances its the only option of a subject i have for SAT II.

Unfortunately i don't have much time, i have purchased Barron`s SAT II U.S History as well as AP U.S History for Dummies.

Does anyone know what other book is useful ? Any useful advices for a complete beginner in U.S History?
