Most appropriate analytical technique...(really, really stuck!)?

Assume techniques available are gravimetric analysis, colorimetry, volumetric analysis and redox titration.

Which analytical method would be most appropriate (and why) for:

Determination of concentration of sulfate in fertiliser.
Analysing the iron content in a sample of food.
Determination of the phosphate content of a commercial laundry powder.

I have a rough idea of what should be what, but just can't explain why!!

Please help.
