Morning dizziness with head turned certain way....

Couple things, I'm athletic/weight lifter, not prone to sickness or injury, diet is healthy (however social smoker), bodyfat is around 17% (but dieting at the moment).

Now, about 6 months ago I dinged (by doing heavy shrugs for my traps) an area just beneath my left shoulder blade working out. It causes me pain when I reach/over extend above my head - but not a nagging, constant or even sharp pain as I still work out daily with little to no notice of it even existing.

As of recent, I've been riding the bus and noticing that when I'm in a scrunched (for lack of a better term) position, the pain comes back, increases into my clavical area as well as my entire upper left shoulder (front/back).

The most recent to the additions is waking up the past couple mornings and being unable to get out of bed at first...my head is turned facing the left part of my body. Then I straighten my head, look up and give it about 1-2 minutes and I'm fine throughout the day.

Final addition, by dieting I manipulate the amount of simple carbs I consume to ensure proper digestion and allow me to burn more fat which could cause me lower than normal blood sugar upon rising in the morning and/or at various points throughout the day.

My curiousity is if the shoulder blade/neck/clavical issue is related to the new found morning dizziness/vertigo??? If not, then I know how to adjust my diet to ensure a moral "stable" sugar/glucose environment to prevent the dizziness.
