More VA's announced for upcoming Astro Boy CGI Movie

Hey, remember that CGI Astro Boy movie we haven't hear a lot from? Well the voice actors have been revealed.
We already knew about Astro VA being Freddie Highmor but who the other actors are gonna be voicing is unknow. The article also mention what the story will be about.

Some of the VA's participating are Nicolas Cage, Nathan Lane, Donald Sutherland, and Eugene Levy.

Also, Summit Entertainment will handle distribution rights outside of Asia.

Well, there's the obligatory CG movie celebrity casting. Now I just hope the execution is good. They're going for adapting original origin story and the classic Astro Boy seems to still be what's best thought of, so here's hoping. I think the potential is there to write and market this as a good sci-fi movie, as opposed to simply a straight-up anime adaptation like Speed Racer.

I don't know, adopting some ideas from the 2003 series or the "Omega Factor" game wouldn't be a bad idea.

If Freddie Highmor can capture the innocence of the character that Billie Lou Watt could, this could be worthwhile.

Although in my opinion, nobody can truly replace Billie Lou Watt as Astro.
