1. write the equation of a quadratic with integer coefficients tat has a root at (2+i3^1/2)/5?

2. Mr. Nestle sells 70,000 candy bars for $1.50 each and he decides to raise the price of the candy bar. Mr. Nestle finds the company will sell 9500 fewer candy bars for each $.40 increase in price. What price per candy bar maximizes the income?

1.

If x= (2 + sqrt(3)i)/5 is a solution, then x = (2 - sqrt(3)i)/5 is also a solution.

Equation is (x-1/5(2+isqrt(3)))(x-1/5(2-isqrt(3))) = 0

or x^2-(4x)/5+7/25 = 0

Or 25x^2 - 20x + 7 = 0
