Mood disorder? or Married to a troll?

My husband is a great man when he is himself. I think my husband has a personality or mood disorder. He is fine one day and the next day he rolls out of bed different. The look in his eyes is blank. He is emotionless. He ignores me and I feel like I should remain as quiet as possible and I retreat to our bedroom while he roams the rest of our house. Any attempt to question him or make contact is either ignored or provokes rage. It happens so suddenly anything could trigger it. If I ask a question, or bring his attention to regular everyday matters that we need to make a decision about, he slowly becomes angrier and angrier if I disagree in anyway. I'm constantly walking on eggshells. While all areas of concern finances, family, and even the dog go un discussed. I let the chips fall where they may rather than initiate a conversation. I constantly fear being ignored for days. There is something wrong with my husband. This is bigger than either of us can handle. Where Do I get help? SN: he is military but has never been deployed. He works in a hospital setting and probably has the cushiest job and enlisted could secure in the us mil.
