This is driving me insane! i got some Monster Beats By. Dre for christmas (the 'studio' version) ... and at first i thought they were great! then i started noticing a strange crackling/humming/pop type noise in the right ear when i was listening to music... (mainly on the first 30 seconds of the songs before the music kicks in) at first i thought it was because some of my music was poor quality or because the batteries were running low, so i changed the batteries (duracel ones, not no cheap ones), no use. i tried turning off the EQ in itunes... no use.
i've tried them with CDs, downloaded music from itunes store itself and even a dvd film, the crackling is still there... its not like a distortion crackle though, if i have them unplugged and powered off i hear nothing unless i move my head slightly... and it is not a loud noise and i cant hear it when i turn them up and the music is pumping, but its driving me mad!!! its got to the point where if i'm listening to quiet music or youtube videos (not low quality ones either - 720p and even 1080p music videos) i will only have the right side actually on my ear... as that side works absolutely fine... if somebody could help me out i would appreciate it SOOO much! - its almost as though something is loose inside the right ear...
- they where bought from an ebay member, they are not fake or anything, they have the serial number ect and i've registered them on the beats website, also the seller said they have a years warranty because ive registered them, is this true? ... would i possibly be able to send them to monster and get a replacement for free? - & how would i go about doing that?
- i also searched the web for hours about this problem and found only one answer, that they might be blown? although the problem was not identical to mine... i hope not though!!!
Sorry for the 1000000 word essay
- i just want a good answer so i know what to do...
HELP HELP HELP!!!
also... this may seem a little strange but ive noticed the noise is sort of in a pattern (like dot dot dot dot silence dot dot dot). like its reacting to the pulse on my temple.... when i move the right side from resting on my head it seems to go away.... im so baffled by this problem! - could it be something to do with the noise cancelling? i herd somewhere that they have tiny microphones or something like that in noise cancelling headphones, THIS PROBLEM IS DRIVIN ME UP THE WALL NOW SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!
