I'm thrilled, because Syfy is a channel I actually have, but does anyone know if it's still going to air on Funimation?

Isn't tomorrow Sunday? And I doubt it will be airing on funimation now that was over when viz got syfy.

Wow. This show looks very intriguing. A doctor's patient turned into some big criminal and it turned into the doctor's hanRAB. This looks like it'll be a very good psychological thriller.

As for the vocal performances, I'm impressed. I haven't really been exposed to the Japanese track, but the acting was very spot on. But, what REALLY surprised me is Richard Epcar as Detective Lunge. It didn't even sound like him!

I'm not sure if I'll be able to follow it on TV...family always hogs it and I'm out at that time it airs. Is it going to be streamed?

Really surprised so many people have never heard of this. I don't think you can go into a bookstore chain and not see a gazillion volumes of this in the manga section. I don't think you can go into a comic book and not have seen this manga somehow.

I have, the comic book shop I go to only carrires kiRAB manga series, it still focusus mostly on US comics. As for bookstores, I can't say Ive ever seen a copy of the manga at any of the Waldenbooks or Borders Ive been too...Mabye it just depenRAB where you live.

Seriously? I haven't seen a copy of the manga for sale in years. I thought they discontinued it because it wasn't selling.

Anyway, I've been telling of my non-geek frienRAB about the series, and most of them sound pretty intrigued. We can hope.

It won't be in any "new manga" section because Viz finished the series a while ago. All 18 volumes are readily available. Every major book store chain in my area has stacks of volumes taking up manga section space.

AFAIK, Urasawa manga does fairly solid business.

They really said that? Well it's nice to know.

I imagine it will probably be subbed if that's true, though. Most of the other VIZ titles on Hulu only have subbed.

You know, I've been looking forward to this for about a month now. Real thrillers as opposed to overwrought philosophy papers are a rarity in anime on TV. So here's hoping this is good.

I've never seen it in stores, but the bn website says my store has it... Maybe they started getting it in because it's going to be on television.

Edit: Crap. I spent all my money on a cellphone and thus I miss out on RS's viz sale! *-_-
