Recently on my pc while playing games, the monitor sometimes decides to shut it self off and lose all signal from my computer. Every time It does this I have to do a hard reboot to make it usable again.
I know it isn't the monitor as I have tried a different one, and I have used both analog and digital cables in every slot.
It isn't a temperature issue as I have cleaned out the pc and the fans are working fine, no sign of heat.
For some reason, when I play World Of Warcraft it doesn't happen. I can play it for hours on end with my monitor working fine. However when I play a game such as crysis, titan quest or the sims the issue happens.
My computer specs are apparently very good (lowest part of it scoring 5.4/6.0 on the microsoft rating), so I don't think that will be the issue.
Can anyone help??
Cheers,
