Does money mean success in football(soccer)??

Please answer this question

It would be great if I could get some stats on epl teams spending and its relation to the winning

something like Deloitte's annual review of football finances
 
It takes time to make a team gel, no matter how much money you spent on players. Just look at Chelsea, they can't win anything for the first year after they spend over 100million pounds on players.

Look at Arsenal, they don't spent much to achieve the unbeaten season in 03-04. They nurture the players and make them play together with greater fluid and understanding.

I would have to say you can buy success with money in football, but not immediate success, and you requires a good coach in your team.

However, I think what Chelsea has done is spoiling the beautiful game. The true meaning of playing football is lost.
