Would you lie to get your child out of trouble?

(According to the poll conducted by Parenting Magazine's April 2009 issue, 42% of moms said yes they would lie to get their kids out of trouble... sad, isn't it?)
Lying to keep your kids out of trouble when they did something wrong is what I am referring to.
 
As of this moment I don't see myself lieing to get my child out of trouble. I've never been in a situation where that even came up though, but I hope I would do the right thing.
