Moisturising with Accutane?

Hi all,

I was wondering if you are not supposed to use moisturiser when using Accutane? I guess the dryness is part of how the drug works so don't want to ruin the effectiveness of the treatment. Im just pretty self conscious of my gross, flaky looking skin! Does anyone use exfoliating type face washes with skin this dry? My dermatologist gave me a thin emoliant based facewash to use which I have been sticking to.

my derm prescribed a moisturizer for me to use while I was on accutane it was desonide lotion. and he also told me not to use any exfoliator because your skin is so sensitive during treatment.
