Mogul 6800 Cricket

I am having problems getting internet to work with a Sprint Mogul 6800 phone. The phone receives and senRAB text and works fine for incoming and outgoing calls. However, I can't get the internet to work on Cricket.

I have looked at WAP settings and phone has been refreshed *228 with Cricket.

Any suggestions ?

Phone was flashed with VetVito ROM
 
I AM on EV.

The phone will dial out #777 Cricket Mobile but will not connect.

WAP Settings using Wap.Mycricket.com proxy server port 8080


I went to Cricket store and they refreshed phone but still won't connect to internet. Verified WAP setting correct but couldn't figure out why wouldn't connect. Basically, Sprint phone and they can't help.
 
Well are you getting any type of error? When it is connecting your Ev sign should start "flickering" a bit. If it doesn't connect generally an error appears.
 
Wi FI wont work either.

The Comm Manager has button for Data Connection but cant turn this on or off.

I set WI FI to search for wireless connections and cant find any.

I should be able to see 2-3 wireless connections available.
 
Hmmm...you might want to try switching ROMs. I had an issue where my WiFi was stuck "on" all the time, and it didn't fix until I re loaded my ROM. Try To0's rom.


Also you might try downgrading to the 3.35 radio, I believe some other said the 3.42 radio was a bit unstable.
 
I finally did get message after few attempts accessing internet.

Screen says can not connect to Internet .....

It must try 4-5 times and cant connect.
