I managed to hack my "old" Palm Portable Keyboard (PPK) - one with a ten-pin connector designed for the Palm III - and get it to work with my Palm Tungsten T3. I added a cable so I could use the T3 on its side in landscape mode. I know others have in the past asked about adapting a PPK so I've put instructions on the web at:
