Modifications to Harley-Davidson FLSTC?

What are some mods i can to do a 91' flstc to make it faster, im looking for a bit more acceleration and i really am not looking to buy a sport bike if ya get what im sayin.

im running straight vance and hines, no baffels
 
Mikuni HSR 45 carb,, a Crane single fire coil and the Crane HI-4 ignition.

6 or 7 hundred dollars well spent and I assure you ,you will feel a big difference.
 
Open up the exhaust and intake. K&N makes a good air cleaner that flows alot more air than stock. Dozens of places make pipes/mufflers that will allow the motor to breathe more.

You'll need to get the carb re-jetted or risk burning valves/pistons due to the lean air/fuel mixture.

Those are the easiest things you can do.

A bit more radical includes re-camming and modifying the ignition.

Major changes would include increasing the bore/stroke. You can get kits for this but they are costly.
