I dont need to be told that its safe to wear a helmet cus i know it is but just want to know is it against the law for a 17 year old to not wear a helmet cus i havnt rode a bike since 4th grade and now that i have a bike again my dad keeps telling me that their going to arrest me if i dont wear a helmet. Is this true.
 
Under 18 years old you need to wear a helmet. Some cities and municipalities can require everyone to wear one so you need to check the local code.
