For Modern History I have to write a 2000 word essay on almost anything post 1500. We can come up with our own question, but it is recommended that it is not a 'how' 'what' or 'why' question, but rather 'To what extent...' I have been looking into Cortes and his time in Mexico, so anything around there would be good, but I appreciate any suggestions. Make the questions specific.
