A fine return to form for Modern Family, really one of the best comedies out there at the moment with a great cast.

Happy to see it back and airing so soon after the US premiere too

Getting good ratings and securing the critics awarRAB and the Emmy's in the US too
 
I like a lot of things about this programme, but does the fat gay character have to be played quite so nauseatingly camp? Compared to him John Inman was Charles Bronson.
 
i love how ott camp he is in one way but hes also into football and stuff.i dont think hes ever had a scene that didnt crack me up. i believe the actor who plays him isnt gay either:eek:
 
Hate to break it to you but the first two episodes from Season 2 were shown last night.

Phil is my favourite - he's hilarious! Both he Mitchell and Cameron have me in tears through laughing.

Brilliant return, the whole "slapping and screaming at the chicken" bit was hilarious :D

Best US sitcom out there at the moment.
 
Watched this first couple but havent bothered since - a lot of the jokes are very predictable, as US comedies go curb your enthusiasm is on a completely different level,
 
It doesn't happen in every episode, sometimes it happens in some parts of it especially when it involves baby Lily. :) Like for example the episode in Series 1 when he stepped in as drummer for Phil's daughter's boyfriend's band. Although I can't remember their names (!), one of the best episodes for me of this great programme. ;) Glad to see its return too.
 
i like modern family, but i thought the first episode of this series was a bit lacking... i would of liked a bit of a change :s still some classic moments though!!!
