Can anyone help. My neptopia modem wasnt working (fault) and the phone network I am using, vodaphone at home broadband and phone package, sent me out a new vodafone wireless broadband modem. The problem is that I own 2 laptops and both worked before on the old modem, but now only one works. The lap top that doesnt work wont connect to the internet. At the icon on the botton of the screen (the computar sceen icon) says acquring network address. I think ive tried everything. The wireless works, but the status on the connection says the same, acquiring network address. Laptop is a HP pavillon. Other laptop is a dell inspiration.
Please help with any pointers. Thanks.
Yes. i have put in the wep key.
The stored WEP key was wrong.
Now fixed.
